Hello anglers:
We started our first afternoon at Guadalupe Island today. We had good action on yellowfin tuna in the 80-135 pound range. We had several bites and plenty of opportunities to land them–it was a great start to our trip! The weather is awesome with sunny skies and no wind.
We are fortunate to have Accurate Fishing Products and Seeker Rods as sponsors of this trip. There were plenty of giveaways yesterday while we were traveling!
Gary Gillingham, pro-staffer from Accurate, had goodie bags for everyone. And Fred Brandt from Seeker Rods had hats and shirts for everyone as well. Gary is giving away reels and Fred has rods to give away as well….lucky anglers!
Both Gary and Fred landed fish this afternoon. Here is Gary with a 108-pound tuna landed on 80 pound line and a ATD 12 Accurate reel. 
Fred’s fish is 125 pounds.
