Searcher Sportfishing Trip #38 Report | Mat Boone Charter | Sept 7 – 11, 2026
Hello Everyone!
We’re currently out on the Mat Boone 4-Day Charter Trip #38, 9/7/26 to 9/11/26, and checking in with a trip report. We left Fisherman’s Landing Monday morning, and fishing has been as good as it gets at night, catching 60- to 120-lb. tuna, with very good daytime opportunities on the same grade of fish. Tuesday night, we made a move to try for some different variety, and it paid off, catching beautiful dorado. For our last day, we decided to head south to see what we can find before returning home Friday morning.
We’ve been enjoying great meals from Jesse and Dan. Freshly caught tuna for poke bowls, coconut shrimp with a sweet chili sauce, chicken chilaquiles, and short rib, just to name a few.
