Hello anglers: We pulled off some excitement in the last two hours of the trip with great action on 20-pound yellowfin tuna. It was worth waiting for! Everyone had a great chance at catching a tuna. TIP: A live sardine on 40 pound outift with a 3/0 hook was the preferred method. No problem getting a bite with the heavier tackle.
Photo today is from early this morning with Fran Majors and Capt Ryan and her nice yellowfin tuna. Gary Gillingham from Accurate Products did a superb job this trip as usual. He used his expertise to hook this fish and hand it off to Fran so she could land it.
