Hey anglers, This morning we had 4 hours to fish for albacore and bluefin tuna. Another boat had good fishing for both species yesterday and so we ran out to the area from Cedros. We arrived at daylight and had a jigstop right after. We caught six albies and two bluefin. We had 6 or 8 more stops for a total of 41 albacore and 3 bluefin tuna to finish our trip. Not too bad for four hours! We had a lot of fun with regulation albacore fishing–meter marks and boils in the chum, resulting in jig stops and bait fish. A great trip to start 2009!
