Hello anglers: We accomplished our goal this morning with excellent dorado fishing on a kelp paddie. Everyone had a great time and got all the dorado they needed. Most of the fish were in the 10-12 pound range with a few stand-outs. Penn University rep Steve Carson weighed a 24-pound dorado, and there were a few more in that class. Pictured is Capt Aaron and Steve Goldblatt aka Goldy with a 20-pounder. We are blessed to have Capt Aaron in the mast with his great eyes. He spotted the kelp paddie from 3 miles away. Nice work, Capt Aaron! We are headed northwest the rest of the day and night, arriving in the tuna grounds tomorrow morning.
