Hello anglers: We changed things up today and tried along the coast for yellowtail. We had enough tuna and dorado for everyone. We saw a sign of yellowtail in a couple of different places today, but they didn’t want to bite. The ones we landed were good size–18-25 pound fish. Almost everyone landed one. Capt Richie and Richard Yoshioka from La Palma, CA are pictured with a nice yellowtail.
We are headed home after a great trip with plenty of action and variety. These 14 passenger trips are great–everyone loves them, including us. They are very low key with lots of room for everyone. There is a 14-passenger trip in October that has some room on it. Treat yourself and join us!
Speaking of our later trips, things are shaping up down south with signs of wahoo, yellowfin tuna and lots of yellowtail on the coast for the way down or the way home. Looking forward to getting down below for a change of scenery and a chance at a wahoo.
