Hello anglers: We had a great day today with good action almost all day. Everyone had a chance at landing a wahoo. A live bait and a wire leader with 40 pound mono was the best combo. John Curtis is pictured with a wahoo he landed on his new rod that his grandchildren bought for him. The rod was built by Jeff Nagel–both John and Jeff are long-time Searcher customers. John comes all the way from England each fall to go on this 7 day trip with all his Searcher buddies!
It’s great fishing and lots of fun the past two days. We are headed north to try the coast for yellowtail.
