Good evening anglers: Today we enjoyed some “reel” nice bluefin fishing with calm seas. This afternoon things changed a little..we are catching fish on the fly-line with 30# and 40# and 2/0 hooks. Quite a few also came on surface jigs and small Colt Snipers. It was a lot of fun!

Good evening anglers:

This afternoon we finished up our yellowtail fishing with a bang with limits of fun in the sun and calm seas. The yellows were biting the fly-lined baits very well, most using 30 lb test and 2/0 hooks. Tomorrow we will try our hand at some bluefin fishing. Good evening anglers:

For day 3 of our Seeker trip, we fished bluefin tuna with some fair results on beautiful grade fish. The best methods to get a bite was flylining with 40 or 50lb test and a 3/0 hook.

Craig G, his daughter Lisa, and son Ryan worked as a family to catch this 75# bluefin. The fish was landed on the SONAR rod and reel gift that Craig received as the grand prize for 2018.
