Fred Hall Shows in Del Mar… And the Winner Is…

The purpose of CCA is to advise and educate the public on conservation of marine resources; and aims to 
conserve, promote, and enhance the present and future availability of those coastal resources for the benefit and enjoyment of the general public.

71st Annual Fred Hall Show in Long Beach
Hello Anglers!
We couldn’t be more excited to once again be part of the world’s largest sportfishing show, Fred Hall in Long Beach. Captain Ryan will be at our booth (#611) through Sunday to answer all of your questions. If you are at the show, or in the area, stop by and say hi!

Searcher in Dry Dock!
Hauled out on Dec 12.
The crew brought Searcher to Al Larson Boat Yard in San Pedro on Sunday night for an early Monday morning arrival for the haul-out on December 12, 2016.
Capt Art reports that the boat’s hull looks good and the work list has begun!
Coast Guard inspection of the hull takes place on Wednesday, December 14.
Here are just a few items that Art, Aaron, Ryan Stahl, Dan and R2 are getting ready for the USCG inspection: intake screens for saltwater pumps, engine cooling system, all thru-hull valves removed for inspection, all bilges pumped dry, and the life rafts are removed for annual inspection.
In addition the hull is power-washed below the waterline and the sonar dome is cleaned.

For our last day of fishing for the 2016 season, we had just a little action catching a few yellowtail on our way home. The weather is good and we’re happy to have a nice ride home.

Trip 31 (7 day) Oct 22-29 The Ridge with Accurate and Seeker
Howdy anglers:
We enjoyed another day of steady action on tuna with wahoo mixed in. We finished our last day down around The Ridge, and are moving up to the beach to try for some yellowtail.
The weather has improved and the forecast shows it getting even better. Ron Bryan hooked many wahoo, and managed to land this one with the help of Capt Ryan Stahl.
