Trip 5 – 3-day (July 11-14) Seeker Rods Open
Good evening anglers,
We left the dock this morning and started fishing for yellowtail this afternoon. We had very good results with using 30lb test with flourocarbon and a 2/0 hook. We also had good results with yoyo jigs. Here is Lisa F. with one of her nice yellowtails. Lisa is on this trip with her brother and father, a long-time Searcher customer who won his trip in our SONAR promotion. Check it out here: SONAR.
We are going to stay put and try for some more yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck!

Trip 3 – 3-day (July 4-7)
July 6
Good Evening Anglers:
We started off are our day looking for kelps, with the first dorado hitting the deck on Searcher in 2019! We then fished bluefin in the afternooon and had some really good oppportunites at catching some quality bluefin tuna. Kenneth L. posed with a beautiful bluefin tuna.
That’s a wrap for our 4th of July trip! Stay tuned for our next trip’s reports.

Trip 3 – 3-day (7/4-7)
Day 2
Good evening anglers:
Today we spent most of our day looking at big schools of breaking bluefin and yellowfin for not many bites. We were able to scratch up a few of each species, and a few yellowtail off kelp patties. They were mostly caught on fly-lined sardines on 30 pound test and 2/0 hooks.
Here is a shot of Tihyam K and Justin with a nice yellowfin tuna.
