Good evening,
We got down to the “13” at about 0500 and got the anchor down shortly after. It didn’t take long for the yellowfin to start biting the yoyo jigs in the dark.  They continued to bite as the sun came up.  It was pretty much as good as it gets on these 25-40l# fish.  Very fun morning!
We spent the rest of the day trolling around trying to find some wahoo.  We never saw or caught any.  We slid down to the 23 we’ll see if there’s any around tomorrow.

Good afternoon,

We put the brakes on last night and had a nice morning fishing yellowtail on the beach.  Nice grade and they were caught mostly yo-yo fishing. Theres a little variety as well this afternoon.  We’re headed for The Ridge now.

Good evening,

We started on the 13 this morning. This nice grade of tuna started biting the yo-yo jigs in the dark. Anglers that wanted some more came out and caught a few. When the sun came up they started biting the fly lined sardines. We tagged a few more and let some go.

We spent the rest of the morning trying to catch something different. We had one more hit with some pargo and a handfull of grouper. We’re rolling up the line fishing yellows tomorrow again on the beach.

Good afternoon, 

We’re calling it a trip here. We had a nice finisher with very good yellowtail fishing this morning on 18-25# fish. Yo-yo fly lined bait and sliding egg sinkers worked best on 40/50lb. Very good sign, very good fishing.

Good evening 

Nice afternoon today! We kept scratching away on wahoo throughout the day, and we had a couple good opportunities. We did have a hit on 25-40lb yellowfin as well. Pretty amazing fishing down here right now.

We are going to move up for some more tuna, a few more wahoo hopefully and see what else we can come up with tomorrow.

Good morning,

We slid down to the bottom of The Ridge last night. We’re on the 23 this morning. We are seeing a little bit of wahoo and some nice schools of tuna. We’ve scratched up a nice morning. Most of the fish have been coming on the wired bait leaders.

Good evening,  

We looked offshore all day after our yellowtail fishing this morning.  It paid off but not until the last couple hours of the day. We had excellent tuna fishing on 18-30lb fish, and they were biting in the corner. We had a couple more stops that we shut off, trying to save some tags for later.

On The Ridge tomorrow morning.

Good morning,

Very good yellowtail fishing this morning on our first stop of the day. They were biting any way you want and all you want. We left them biting.

We’re saving tags for later in the trip. And we are now on the hunt for something else.

Good evening:
We let the wind blow past last night and got up to Isla Natividad just after the sun came up. We had some good action until about lunchtime on larger-grade fish in the 18-25# range.  Yo-yo and fly-lined baits were the hot ticket. We did catch a few on the droppe- loop and the surface-iron too.  We’re headed up the beach again.
We are  going to stop and break up the ride and do some bottom fishing tomorrow morning.

Good evening:

We got up on the beach this morning to get out of the weather and had some excellent yellowtail action. It was full speed and any way you want to catch it. They are 10-18# fish, splashing around the boat. Anglers tagged as many as they wanted.

We saved some tags for tomorrow when we’re going to go further up the coast and try catch some bigger ones. We tucked into Bahia Asunción to get out of the wind for dinner, We’re going to try make some bait tonight and when it backs off and keep rolling up.
