Create your Angler Account!

Another helpful hint from Land Crew:

Create your Angler Account on SearcherSportfishing.com! This allows you to track your auto-pay payments, add/edit your passport details, and check trip details. Future features will include credit card changes and more.

This feature comes with our new reservations system, so you will need to log-in with your email (make sure it’s the same one we have on file) and select “Forgot Password” to receive a password via email. Log in with that password. Then you can change that password to something you’ll easily remember for the next log-in.

FIRST STEP: Go here SEARCHER SPORTFISHING SCHEDULE page and look in the upper right corner. You’ll see Manage Your Account. Start there and follow the steps to resetting a password.

Your Booking and Payment Process

Hello anglers!

If you thought there were a few differences in scheduling a trip or receiving trip confirmation/receipts from me, you aren’t wrong! Our new reservation software is now integrated into our web site and the trip materials look a bit different. I know this will make our office even more efficient and your payment receipts more timely.

I’ve included a sample confirmation in this post. Note the trip information, your contact details, your trip deposits, and the important “Terms and Conditions.” For now, the Trip reference will be the fishing year and your trip number. This sample shows (“24-30”) which is 2024, trip #30. We will be editing the email text in the future, but you will always recognize our logo and the subject line will contain Searcher Sportfishing. If you are paying for others, their names and payments will be included in your receipt.

Check out the booking system on the schedule page! You’ll be logging in with an account password, so if you need help with that or anything else, please call or email.

We are excited about our new reservations system that we know will make booking trips and receiving receipts more efficient and timely! Please note that paperwork such as receipts, statements, and pre-trip documents will look different, so don’t mistake them for junk mail. Emails will come from reservations@searchersportfishing.com. Perhaps adding that email to your approved list will help.

Nov 21 (Nov 14-22) 8-day Limited Load

Good evening anglers,

We ended an awesome trip this afternoon. We started in the morning fishing lingcod and vermilion rockfish, and we had some nice ones. We slid offshore before lunch and saw scattered sign of 60-100lb bluefin. No real concentration just loose fish. We tried a few times for no bites so we called it around 2pm, so the crew could get the boat cleaned up. This was our last trip of the year 

I just wanted to take a minute on behalf of Josh, myself and the crew on Searcher to say thanks to everyone who came out fishing with us this year. What a great year from 100lb bluefin to wahoo, and from May to November!

We had a great year and a great time fishing with all of you. Josh and I appreciate everyone’s support with our new venture.

We look forward to seeing everyone next year, and if you didn’t get a chance to come out with us this year, now’s your chance to jump on a 2024 trip before they fill up! Check on current openings here: 2024 Searcher Schedule

We’ll be hauling the boat out for dry dock and maintenance next month and getting ready for next year. See you anglers in the spring!

We’ve been dealing with some weather the past couple days, fishing when we can and moving up when we can.  We have had some fun beach fishing though and scratched some nice yellowtail throughout the last couple days.  We’re working up trying to spend our last day in good weather.
