With only 14 anglers aboard, it’s the ultimate in passenger comfort and a relaxing fishing experience. So much room at the rail! It was a bittersweet send-off though, as it’s Captain Aaron Remy’s last trip as captain or crew aboard Searcher. Team Searcher will miss him greatly, and wish him well in his next endeavors.

But first, it’s time to fish! Wish them luck and check back for daily fish reports as they head to the tuna and yellowtail grounds.

Pro-staffer Gary Gillingham brought an Accurate reel and two rods for jackpot prize giveways, along with t-shirts and other giveaways for for the crew and passengers this trip. The Accurate crew always brings the great giveaways and fun. This is a 6 day trip. Limits of fun and fish for everyone. Stay hooked for all the trip updates. 

On July 27, Searcher anglers returned to the dock with a good catch of yellowfin tuna. What they didn’t realize is that some of their tuna were measured and sent in to the data collection project for the US and state fisheries experts, as organized by SAC (Sportfishing Association of CA).
