It’s Turner’s Time! 
This popular 1.5-day trip is always a blast-you can see how excited the anglers are! There are terrific giveways for each angler and on-board expert pro-staffers, such as Lori Sachau and Jason Rasmussen. Wish them luck as they head off to the tuna grounds. Stay tuned for the report tomorrow.
Our 23 lady anglers left this morning on a 3-day offshore fishing adventure. Some anglers are novices, some are experienced, but they EACH have a brand-new pair of Xtratuf boots, especially made for women! Thank you, Xtratuf!
We’re pretty sure Bootz has met his match with the ladies’ Xtratuf legacy models in blue (on left) and cooper (on right)…sized just for women!
In addition to Team Searcher crew, the ladies have two expert pro-staffers on board, Wendy Tochihara of Izorline and Lori Sachau of Turner’s Outdoorsman in San Marcos, CA. Wendy and Lori have attracted the attention of so many tackle manufacturers who want to put their saltwater gear into the hands of lady anglers. For this trip, a second jackpot is raised and the “Sportsman/woman of the Trip” wins that amount towards a Searcher Sportfishing trip in 2017. Long-time friend to Dick and Searcher, Terry Onishi, re-wraps a rod belonging to Dick and donates the rod and a reel to the on-board raffle, raising even more money. Thank you, Terry!

Pro-staffers Wendy Tochihara of Izorline and Lori Sachau of Turner’s Outdoorsman arrived early yesterday to load their carts of goodies onto the boat for their annual 5-day fishing extravaganzza! Even before Searcher departed from the dock, the happy anglers had already EACH received 3 lures (including 2 Shimano flat-falls!) to add to their tackle boxes!
Capt Ryan is pictured with longtime Searcher friend Thom Carney, who brought him a custom rod from Hyun’s Tackle in Ventura. Awesome! He then piloted the boat to Everingham Bros. to load bait, and then our spirited bunch was headed south. 🙂
