We’ve had another great day here at the island, with very nice fish coming over the rail. All but two were over 100lbs and our biggest was 171#. Here is Matt Schulz with his first fish over 100#.
The weather is really nice. We have one more day to fish before headed back to the dock.

We had some sign of tuna all morning. The conditions weren’t optimal (lack of current), but we managed to catch a few. All the fish are over 100# so everyone is pretty pleased.
Here is a sample of one of our fish caught by Jim Mabary using one of our new Seeker OSP 1×3 rods with our new Penn 16 visx with 80lb Izorline on a 2/0 Owner mutu hook.
So we’re hoping for more action this afternoon.

We had some good action this morning on tuna all day! We hooked our first fish at 6 am. Here is a 150# tuna caught by Randy Lawrence. Hoping for another hit this afternoon!

We got to Guadalupe Island this afternoon and we found a little action. It took awhile for the fish to get with the program, but we had a chance at the fish. We’re gonna be here again tomorrow and we’re hoping we get some more chances.

Hello anglers,
We had good action on small tuna and dorado this morning when we found a kelp with a nice school of fish on it. It was lots of fun for anyone interested in a little more action on their trip.
Janice Krause from San Clemente got a nice dorado on her Seeker Athena rod and an Accurate Valiant 30 with 25 pound fluorocarbon and a live sardine.
We are headed to Ensenada for check-in tonight and we’ll be back at the dock in San Diego tomorrow.

Hello all,
Our final day here at the island we had some action midday and late in the day. Plenty of opportunities to pull on 100 pound class yellowfin tuna. Our goal for the trip was to have everyone on board land a quality yellowfin this trip. We came close to that goal on the final day.

We are headed north to try for a kelp paddie tomorrow and hopefully we can get some action on smaller tuna and dorado.
