Trip 10 Jul 23-28 (5-day) July 26 Recap

July 26, 2017

Hello all,

We had an action packed day today with plenty of opportunity to land a yellowtail. The fish were 6-25 pounds. We released several of the smaller ones.

The primary method was a live sardine and 30 pound line, and a 2/0 J Hook with a small sliding sinker. There was also a chance for some rockfish as well.

Everyone had fun and plenty of rail time today. Wendy from Izorline landed this nice yellowtail.

Headed north for more fishing time.

More later,

Team Searcher

August 27 day’s end

Hello anglers; We had a great day of fishing with everyone landing a yellowfin tuna and plenty of opportunity to land more. The sizes of the fish are awesome, with all the fish being over 25 pounds and a few fish over 40 pounds. Lots of fun had by all. The photo is one of those 40 pound fish caught on a Shimano flat fall lure by Bob Rhatigan. aug 26-28 rhatigan
