JACKPOT WINNER Trip 5- Seeker Rods

Good evening anglers:
This afternoon we finished up our yellowtail fishing with a bang with limits of fun in the sun and calm seas. The yellows were biting the fly-lined baits very well, most using 30 lb test and 2/0 hooks. Tomorrow we will try our hand at some bluefin fishing. Wish us good luck. Here is a shot of John Etheridge with a nice yellowtail.

Good afternoon anglers:
We are enjoying good yellowtail fishing today!. Our best results have been on yo-yo iron, 6x jrs blue and white, and brown and white. Here is a nice shot of Beth L. and crewman Justin with a yellowtail.

Good evening anglers:
For day 3 of our Seeker trip, we fished bluefin tuna with some fair results on beautiful grade fish. The best methods to get a bite was flylining with 40 or 50lb test and a 3/0 hook.
Craig G, his daughter Lisa, and son Ryan worked as a family to catch this 75# bluefin. The fish was landed on the SONAR rod and reel gift that Craig received as the grand prize for 2018. And this trip was his free 3-day trip that he won in addition to the rod/reel combo. Bring a friend fishing and win, like Craig did in 2018! Get all the details here: SONAR

We would like to give a big thank you to Seeker Fishing Rods and pro-staffer Sophia H. for all their giveaways on this trip.

Good afternoon anglers:
We started off our morning fishing for bluefin. We have had a little luck getting them to bite on 40lb fly-lined baits and flat falls.

Here is Chantel D. with a 75lb. bluefin caught on her spinning rod. Chantel is trying her hand at tuna fishing and came to San Diego long-range from British Columbia, Canada. We are gonna stay here for the day and see what happens. Wish us luck!

Good evening anglers,
We left the dock this morning and started fishing for yellowtail this afternoon. We had very good results with using 30lb test with flourocarbon and a 2/0 hook. We also had good results with yoyo jigs. Here is Lisa F. with one of her nice yellowtails. Lisa is on this trip with her brother and father, a long-time Searcher customer who won his trip in our SONAR promotion. Check it out here: SONAR.
We are going to stay put and try for some more yellowtail tomorrow. Wish us luck!
