Howdy anglers, Well another 1 1/2 trip is under our belts and we’re heading in tonight. The fishing has slowed a bit and the weather has picked up, which made for a slower trip than the past couple. There was still sign of fish but they had their heads in the mud today possibly from the weather. We have seen that before– the first couple of days the weather picks up, the fishing slows a bit. Wer’e coming home with 13 bluefin, 9 longfins, and 3 yellowtails. The jackpot was a 26 lb. longfin. Tip of the day is patience, especially right after a jigstrike. Wait a of couple of extra seconds to get a bait into the water, and spread out on the 95-feet of rail. We’re leaving on a 5-day tomorrow and we’ll keep you posted. Good angling and hope to see you on the water soon! Capt. Aaron

Howdy anglers, Today was a great day for us, we started out in the morning with a gray bite! The weather was in our favor again and the fish were biting for us most of the morning and we had a little action in the afternoon. We are headed in tonight with 59 fish–5 bluefin and 1 yellowfin and the rest were all nice 20 to 37 pound longfins. So the tip today was using a good bait, getting away from the crowd and not casting on the stern. Avoiding all the mess was definitey the ticket to a better chance of landing a fish. Good angling and hope to see ya on the water soon, Capt. Aaron

Howdy anglers, This day and a half trip was great for us! The weather is like a lake–flat, calm and picture perfect. We saw lots of fish and we captured some too. Once again good bait selection was the best way to get a bite. The trolling feather of choice was black and purple with a amber head. We totaled with 44 longfins, 16 bluefin, 2 yellowtail, and 1 yellowfin tuna. We are headed home and will return on another 1 1/2 day trip tomorrow afternoon. Good angling and hope to see you on the water, Capt. Aaron
This 4-day trip had 28 anglers and they caught 146 albacore, 57 yellowtail, 27 yellowfin tuna, and 3 dorado, all on Izorline! The jackpot winners are:
Hey anglers, Well we moved south a ways to look at a little different area today. There were reports of some other species of tuna, so we thought since we had a good day yesterday we would give it a try. We had a great day of fishing with yellowtail on kelps and yellowfin tuna on the troll, along with a few albacore mixed in. Once again live bait was the ticket as the best method with an occasional fish on the iron. The weather was great and we had a lot of fun. We arrive in San Diego tomorrow morning and everyone has enough fish. What a great group of fishermen this is with Izorline as our sponsor. There are still some spots on the August 2 4-day trip. Looks like it could be good fishing. Capt Kevin will be taking out the next few trips. Hope to see you aboard! Capt Art p.s. Hey anglers, Today we had great albacore fishing! We landed 94 fish and we stayed busy with jig strikes and meter marks most of the day. The hot trolling lure was a cedar plug today. As usual, a flyline sardine and 25 pound line worked the best. I don’t think we had a fish on artificial lures today. We are going to try to add some other species to our catch list in the next few days. The weather is great with less than 10 knots of wind and the sea has diminished as well. The forecast looks good for the next few days. We have some new 1.5 day trips added to the schedule for those of you who would like to jump aboard for a shorter trip. Hope to see you soon, Capt Art
