Trip #27: Oct 4-10 (6 day) Ultra-limited Load
Good morning anglers,
We made a pit stop on the way home today on the beach. We got some action on yoyo jigs on some bigger yellowtail. The anglers working at it were rewarded nicely with a few 20-25lb yellowtail to go along with a few bottom grabbers. We’re going to give it another hour and then pack up and head home.

OCT 1 (7-Day Trip) Seeker Trip to Guadalupe Island
Beautiful weather here today! We’re seeing some sign of these big yellowtail here on the other side of the island as well as mixed grade yellowfin, 30-100lbs. We’ve caught a few including a pair of 50lbers We’re going spot-to-spot seeing what we can come up with and we’re coming up with some trophies. These fish are big and mean so naturally there’s a high casualty rate.

Good evening anglers,
We circumnavigated the island today and caught something at every spot we hit. At about 5:30, we pulled up to our last spot and started marking 100lb yellowfin and 30-40lb yellowtail. We spun a circle and the tuna boiled up right away, so we put the anchor down. We never hooked a tuna but the yellowtail started biting right away and bit until the sun went down. They were biting the yoyo jigs, the dropper loop mackerel, and the fly lined mackerel as well. The full size mint Salas 7x heavys that Fred gave everyone were the hot lure here this evening.

The crew makes everyone feel so welcome. They go up and beyond making sure everyone is having a good time, helping with tackle setup and overall making sure everyone one is having fun.
Cooking was on point every meal! Deckhands are always there to help you out with your setups. They take the time to answer everyone’s questions while staying on top of their game. Just overall make it feel like an amazing experience, as well as a family.
Every crew member, including Mike and Josh, was very willing to teach us new techniques and how best to fish the targeted species. The working relationship among the crew was outstanding. It is a pleasure to see men enjoy their job and work so well together. Keep up the great attitude and spirit.
Your operation hires solid crew members that make the trip fun. Catching yellowtail on the iron while listening to music in the sun was the highlight of my trip.

Best run operation I’ve ever been on as far as desire of captain and attitude/ teamwork of the crew.
The crew is top notch. Mike knows how to fish hard and find the fish. Josh puts out 5 star meals every meal. The deck crew is always attentive to what’s happening on deck. They want to help with a great attitude and they all work together and get along great. The whole operation is smooooth.
