Trip 31 (7 day) Oct 22-29 The Ridge with Accurate and Seeker
Howdy anglers:
We enjoyed another day of steady action on tuna with wahoo mixed in. We finished our last day down around The Ridge, and are moving up to the beach to try for some yellowtail.
The weather has improved and the forecast shows it getting even better. Ron Bryan hooked many wahoo, and managed to land this one with the help of Capt Ryan Stahl.
And many thanks to sponsor Seeker Fishing Rods!

Howdy anglers:
We had some action this morning on a couple of wahoo, but they aren’t very hungry. We’ve seen some, but they are not interested in what we have to offer.
We had some action on yellowfin tuna though! Going for more this afternoon.

Day’s end report:
Howdy anglers,
We had a few more tuna this afternoon and a couple more wahoo.
Steve Lenker is pictured with one of the wahoo. The weather has come down and we’re moving down to a area with promising reports.
Many thanks to Gary Gillingham and all his support through Accurate Fishing Products and Seeker Rods. Lots of gear and fun for anglers to try out!

Howdy anglers:
We arrived to The Ridge about lunchtime and didn’t waste any time getting on the fish. We had great action on yellowfin tuna this afternoon. We saw wahoo some swimming around but didn’t capture any today. We are hoping for more action tomorrow.
The weather is great and the forecast looks favorable too.

Howdy anglers:
We’ve had another great morning! We caught some nice wahoo and a few exotics like pargo, grouper and a couple of dorado. The wind is backing off and it’s getting to be a sunny nice day.
We’re moving now so we can finish the day trying for some tuna before heading north tonight.

Trip 30 (7 day) Oct 15-22 The Ridge
Howdy anglers,
We had a great morning here had some really good tuna fishing! There was some wahoo mixed in as well. The grade of tuna is 12-40 lbs, a few really nice tuna. The wahoo were biting live bait and lures.
The wahoo bombs have seemed to be a little more effective on the wahoo over others.
We’re moving down the line a little to try another spot this afternoon.
Capt Aaron and the Searcher crew
Howdy anglers,
We’ve had a great afternoon fishing for wahoo. We’re gonna stay here and try it again in the morning for our last day down here before moving north.
Here is Jeff K with a nice wahoo assist by Capt Jed.
We’re also hoping for some nighttime action. We have already caught four pargo, so tonight might be fun.

Howdy anglers:
We’re having a great morning here at The Ridge so far! Everyone has a wahoo to start their trip off. A couple tuna have been caught too, but we haven’t really been targeting them yet.
Wish us luck this afternoon!
Capt Aaron and Searcher crew
howdy anglers,
We’ve had a fantastic day here on The Ridge catching wahoo and tuna all afternoon! We had a good school of yellowfin tuna (12-33 pounds) that were very eager. We’re staying the night right here, hoping for a night bite and to repeat the day all over.
On another note Jeremiah Graham caught his first wahoo on his grandfather’s lugnut lure! Cheers to you, Walt!

Trip 30 (7 day) Oct 15-22 The Ridge
Howdy anglers: Today was a travel day today since we are headed towards The Ridge. We will be arriving mid-morning on Monday, so we needed the prep time today. The weather is OK, we have a little breeze this afternoon, but we’re making good speed. I went back to my roots today. My first job, over 19 years ago, was making pretzels. Chef Charley made some pretzel dough and I went to work for the afternoon snack!
