Trip #16 Jerome’s 1.5-day (August 26-28)
Good evening anglers,
This afternoon we saw just a little sign of biting yellowfin, however we did have a few good shots at quality bluefin. Getting a bite was not the problem, but landing them proved to be difficult. Those who stuck it out were rewarded. Here is David and Patrick with some 40lb class bluefin. Thanks to Jerry N and employees from Jeromes for joining us on this trip.

Trip #16 Jerome’s 1.5-day (August 26-28)
Good afternoon anglers,
We started our morning off fishing for 10-25# yellowfin. We found a few schools, but they did not want to cooperate. We managed to catch a couple handfuls. Around lunch time we stumbled into a school of 30-40lb bluefin that wanted to bite a little on the light tackle. After many casualties we managed to boat a few of these excellent grade bluefin.
Here is crewman Justin and Jerry with a nice 30+lb bluefin tuna caught on the sinker rig.

Trip #15 Lady Angler 3-day (August 23-26)
Hello anglers,
W had a good start to our day with some action on yellowfin and bluefin tuna. Live bait was the best method. Here is Lori S from Turners Outdoorsman in San Marcos with a nice bluefin tuna caught on 20 pound line and a 1/0 hook.

Trip #15 Lady Angler 3-day trip (Aug 23-26)
Hello anglers,
We had a slow morning today, but afer lunch we found some fish that cooperated. We had two stops that produced a mix of yellowfin and bluefin tuna. Live bait and 25 pound line with 25 pound floro carbon and a 1/0 hook was the primary successful method. And a few fish were landed on colt snipers. Lots of fun was had by everyone and we all wore our pink shirts. The weather is very calm and we are looking forward to tomorrow. Here is Wendy from Izorline and Glenda with a hook and hand fish landed by Glenda and hooked by Wendy.

Trip #15: Lady Angler 3-day (Aug 23-26)
Hello anglers
We departed on our Lady Anglers trip yesterday. We got a nice load of bait and fished this afternoon since the fish are close to home. The first two fish we landed were 35 pound bluefin tuna. Here are Sophia, pro-staffer for Seeker Rods, and Chelsea T. with their nice bluefin. Sophia landed hers on 20 pound line and a live bait, and Chelsea used a colt sniper and 30 pound line.
We had some action on yellowfin tuna as well and almost everyone landed a tuna the first day. The weather is great with light winds and no seas. Loads of swag was given out before we got to the fishing grounds.
Looking forward to tomorrow! Captain Art and Team Searcher
