Searcher Sportfishing 2026 Captain Potato Head Memorial Fun-Raiser was a success! This 3-day trip ran from Friday, August 7, 2026, to Monday, August 10, 2026. For over 20 years, Searcher has sponsored the Captain Potato Head Memorial Fun-Raiser trip in honor of Dick Uranga, aka Captain Potatohead, to support pancreatic cancer research. All funds raised by the Captain Potato Head anglers are donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Dick’s name. Searcher matches the amount raised, doubling the contribution to this important organization.
