Searcher Sportfishing Trip Report for Trip #8, 3-Day Limited Load, June 2 – 5, 2026
Hello!
Checking in with a Searcher Sportfishing Trip Report. Last Friday morning, we returned home from Trip #8, 3-Day Limited Load, June 2 – 5, 2026. The past week of fishing has been tough due to choppy weather. We’ve been off the bluefin for a few days, and it has been difficult to locate them. We made a big move overnight and were rewarded with a nice day of fishing, catching quality yellowtail in good weather. Hopefully, it’s a sign of things to come.
We’re currently out on trip #9, 3-Day Weekend Limited Load, Friday June 5, 2026, to Monday, June 8, 2026. We’ve been seeing good signs and caught some yellowtail.
Jesse and Jeff prepared more amazing dishes from grilled salmon over rice to grill shrimp skewers with rice pilaf, pita, tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce.
