Tackle Recommendations for Upcoming Trips

July 12th, 2025|Categories: Trip Reports|

Hello Anglers,

Searcher’s fishing season is underway! We’re currently out on trip #20, 3-Day Weekend Limited Load, running from Friday, July 11th to Monday, July 14th. Several tackle recommendations if you’re joining us on an upcoming trip. Please come prepared to fish with anchovy bait. Bring light tackle setups, specifically 20–30 lb. test line, small hooks, and small sliding sinkers. Along with your usual nighttime jigging set and a set of fly lining 40-60 lbs.
