Capt Art gave prizes to each SONAR winner for today’s trip and we’ve entered them into the year-long raffle for the grand prize of a Shimano rod/reel combo and a free 3-day trip in 2010. Prizes today included gift certificates for Fisherman’s Landing Tackle Shop, Five Star Fish Processing, and two signed new books about fishing by Brandon Hayworth and Bill Poole.
The 1.5 day trip had 40 albacore, 19 bluefin, 1 yellowfin, and 1 dorado. The jackpot winner, Warren Worth, had a 49# bluefin!
Howdy anglers, Today’s fishing had quality written all over it. The weather was great and our bait was beautiful. We got into some bigger bluefin today with a couple of 40 pounders and a 50 pounder. We lost one right at color that went 70lbs. All the albacore were nice, 20 to 30lbs, and the yellowfin and the dorado were nice too! So we’re headed back in with 40 albies, 19 bluefin, 1 yellowfin, and 1 dorado. Good angling and hope to see ya on the water, Capt. Aaron

Anglers: Today was an albacore day and we just caught about 11 of them. Our trip totals are 56 yellowfin tuna, 21 yellowtail, 56 dorado, and 19 albacore. The weather is still great and we are heading for home. Next is a 1.5 day trip and we hope to get back on those albacore. Capt Aaron
Howdy anglers, Today we had some nice surprises. We had a sample of albacore again and there is a great size to them–25 to 30 lbs! We had a total of 50 fish and we feel fortunate for our efforts today. Most of the yellowfin were 22lbs and the dorado were also noticeable mentions. Were gonna try for another whack at ’em tomorrow, hoping that we found a new zone with some albacore to bring back to the docks. Good angling and hope to see ya on the water, Capt. Aaron
Howdy anglers, Today we had jumping dorado, and nice weather for today and in our future for the next few days. Yesterday we started fishing in the afternoon and captured 5 nice albies just before dark and today we caught 86 mixed fish, including the colorful leapers, dorado, and dandy-sized ones too, yellowfin tuna up to 22 lbs and some yellowtail mixed in with it. We’re gonna try to do it again tomorrow. Good angling and hope to see ya on the water, Capt. Aaron Tip of the day- some of the bait the last few days has been kinda weak so taking your time at the bait tank picking a good bait, and there’s plenty to pick, made anglers get more bites.
