Sunday August 16 road closures

Hello anglers, We have had a chance at some quality bluefin tuna again this morning, though it’s a little slower action than this time yesterday . We hope to finish off today with the same action as yesterday evening. We had a great stop on mixed yellowfin tuna up to 30 pounds and bluefin tuna up to 40 pounds. It was excellent fishing.

We are landing a few nicer bluefin tuna today. A flyline sardine is the method of choice today. The weather is fine and we are having a good time. Today’s photo is Capt Ryan and Dave Howard from Thousand Oaks and a 40 pound bluefin tuna.

Howdy anglers: We finished the trip with a bang. We had some great and very steady action all afternoon fishing for yellowtail. The grade of fish was awesome, ranging from 15 to 38 pounds. The weather was as calm as it gets . We’re headed for home with the sun setting. Here’s a sample of the fish we caught today. This is Jon Drivick of San Diego:

Howdy anglers: This morning was amazing! We started in the dark and we left them biting! We got our California day limit of 40-lb bluefin tuna and now we’re headed to find something else. Here’s Capt Kenny with Art Socha with a couple or nice bluefin. The weather is calm and we’re on the move wish us luck.
