Howdy anglers: All good things must come to a end. We finished the 2014 season with a great trip of fishing. Our last day was spent looking for kelps and we found a couple to finish off the trip and the season. The weather is wonderful. Here’s a group shot of happy dorado fishermen. 
We’re headed home and looking forward to some time on land, but also looking forward to what the 2015 season brings. Good angling and hope to see ya on the water in 2015

Howdy anglers, What a day makes! The weather is flat and the fish are biting. We got our day’s limit of yellowtail in the morning so we’re working north, looking for a new fish. We’re hoping for some colorful leapers–“dorado”–and maybe get lucky and get a wahoo as well. Wish us luck for the rest of the day. Today’s photo is Bob Jaime with a sample of our yellows. 
Also a honorable mention goes to Mike Einstoss, who caught a 40lb black sea bass that we successfully released.

Hello anglers: Capt Aaron arrived at The Ridge yesterday and fished for the afternoon. Here’s a little report: “Today was a slow day, but we had some action this afternoon with a few yellowfin tuna. We’re hoping for a better day tomorrow weather is supposed to get nicer so wish us luck.” This morning he reports a good catch of yellowfin at Thetis Bank and the weather reports look good. Expect a good catch report later today!

Hello anglers: Today was an unusual day because of our location. We made a LONG run out to the Cortez to try for bluefin tuna. We got some info that there might be a chance to catch some 20 pound bluefin. The weather was calm so we decided to go for it. We didn’t reach our goal on the bluefin but we had good fishing in the afternoon. We landed 15 bluefin (for 14 anglers) and some more yellowtail and a few yellowfin tuna. Everyone had a chance at a bluefin. Pictured is Capt Joe with Kevin Mills and his birthday bluefin. What a birthday Kevin had on Searcher with a 30-pound yellowtaill on the yo-yo and his spinning tackle, and this bluefin tuna.
