Hello anglers: Today we are 75 miles from home and seeing signs of yellowtail, dorado and bluefin tuna. Fly-line sardine is the bait of choice with 30 pound test line. Our charter head Gary Smith has landed two bluefin tuna so far this morning. He is pictured with Capt Kenny and a 30-pound bluefin tuna.

Hello anglers: We had a great day of fishing with lots of action and plenty of time at the rail for everyone. We had a mix of bluefin tuna, yellowtail and a few dorado make for a great day. We had bluefin up to 40 pounds and some stand-out yellowtail as big as 20 pounds. Plenty of fun was had by all. Lots of laughs and joking around made for a great day. The weather looks better for tomorrow and we are staying in the same area. We hope to duplicate our efforts tomorrow.

Howdy anglers: The day just went on and the fish kept biting. After our morning drift we were stringing kelps together, catching fish on every kelp that we stopped on. It was a very action-packed day and the weather is coming down a little.
Good angling and hope to see you on the water soon,
Capt Aaron
Howdy anglers: What a morning! We have 52 bluefin on deck out of our morning drift, and a few dorado thown in. We still got ’em around and under us with one tuna still on the line. The weather is a bit windy but we don’t care–fish are biting! This is a sample of the average-size bluefin. Happy angler, Tim Kinsella of San Diego with this quality tuna. Capt Aaron
Howdy anglers: Today was a fun-filled day of fishing in good weather. We had limits of yellowtail by mid-morning and that gave us more than half the day to focus on bluefin tuna. Most of the day was slow but the last hour and a half proved itself to be worth the wait. We found a large school of 30-40 pounders and some bit. We’re headed home to turn around to hope to repeat what we did today.Wish us luck. Capt Aaron and Searcher crew
Howdy anglers: We have our yellowtail limits for the day and five bluefin tuna. We’re on the lookout for more tuna now. The weather is calm and the sun is out. Wish us luck. Capt aaron and Searcher crew
