Day at the Docks

The 41th Annual Port of San Diego’s Day at the Docks® is Sunday April 19, 2020. 

This FREE waterfront festival celebrating the official start of San Diego’s spring saltwater sportfishing season. It is the largest sportfishing festival in the country and celebrates the world’s largest and most modern sportfishing fleet.
 
From 9 AM to 5 PM, Day at the Docks® will feature Team Searcher, casting contests, prizes, displays of fishing tackle, boats, apparel and art. There are fishing seminars, cooking demonstrations, marine retailers, a FREE stocked fishing area for children, a hands-on marine art contest for kids, music, food and live entertainment.
 
Admission to the festival is absolutely FREE!
There is free parking on Shelter Island with free, frequent shuttles to and from the festival.

Bluefin in March!

Looks like 2020 fishing season is off to an early start offshore San Diego. Local boats are reporting catches of bluefin tuna already, and Captain Art reports here on news from spotters in the sky.

Long Beach Show – Huge Success!
